Nearly 500 bills, memorials, and resolutions had been introduced in the New Mexico Legislature by the end of last week, so the legislative committees have plenty to deal with.  Legislative Report #2 for the 2025 session is attached to bring you up to date.  

Some of the bills we’re following have already passed their first committee assignments and moved on to the next step in the process, and others are scheduled to be heard this week – see the list at the top of the report.  But keep in mind that more bills will be scheduled as the week goes on, so be sure to check the committee agendas under the “What’s Happening” tab on the legislative website at nmlegis.gov.  Copies of all bills and other measures are also available on the website.
