Health Reform Beyond Basics presented a webinar on May 16, 2023, in partnership with the National Health Law Program (NHeLP). In this Beyond Basics webinar, Skyler Rosellini, Senior Attorney at NHeLP, provides an overview of the Medicaid eligibility appeals process, including what can be appealed, how to file an appeal, and what to know about appeals decisions. He also provides tips on how assisters can help people facing the end of Medicaid continuous eligibility, including understanding the difference between Medicaid coverage reinstatements, reapplying, and appealing and examples of when each may be appropriate.
